Firmware Engineer - Bicester - Up to £70,000
You can develop wireless products from concept right through to production that have an application in Pharma, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Energy and defence markets.
This organisation is backed by some ofthe UKs leading investors, this sensor technology involves a range of electronics and software within its embedded system. You'll be getting stuck into the design and development of sensor networks which use Bluetooth, 3G, WIFI and Wireless HART tech.The software they use is C/C++ and some Python. These sensors use a range of analogue and digital electronics so will be a greatchance to expand on your hardware design and gain exposure to orientation, accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers sensorsto precisely locate devices on people and equipment.
This will be a chance to step into the internet of things domain and will be suitable for a junior or a senior - hence the wide ranging salary. The ideal candidate will be a Firmware Engineer with some hardware design experience.
The team you'll join are experience and know their existing products very well. These will adapt and improve under your watch alongside the introduction of new designs.
In order to be successful, the ideal applicant will need experience in;
* Writing Firmware in C/C++
* IOT/Bluetooth/WIFI
* PIC/ARM Architectures
* Analogue/DigitalDesign such as PCBs, schematics and circuit design
Nice to have:
* FPGAs or IMUs
