Description:
Our client, based in Cork, requires a Health and Safety Manager. You will be joining an established provider who supports the construction and energy industries. This well established (60+ years in operation) Irish company seeks a NEBOSH/degree qualified and experienced H&S Manager to ensure their operations meet high H&S standards and regulations.
As the H&S manager you will:
* Provide EHS support to all departments within the company, including the implementation of theSafety Management System, conducting site audits, participation at team workshops, and report compilation.
* Carry out EHS inductions, training, risk assessments, and auditing to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
* Work closely with keyinternal & external stakeholders to understand systems gaps and support needs - implementing improvement opportunities whenidentified to ensure all aspects of the business are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
* Supportingthe EHS audit programme. Inputting into the safety management system to record and monitor actions arising from internal and external audits, and tracking actions to close-out.
* Incident/accident investigation and reporting.
* Setting and achieving goals and objectives, according to agreed metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Support the development of the Integrated Management system (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO9001 and ISO45001)
* Develop further the EHS culture of the Business.
* Administration requirements of EHS&Q office.
Experience & Qualification:
Ideal candidate will have 3+years EHS experience ina similar role.
NEBOSH Qualification or Higher Diploma in Safety, Health &Welfare at Work
