Job Title: Plates Technical Applications Specialist / Lithographic Print Package : £35,000 - £45,000 + pension , healthcare , vehicle , training and developmentwith a market leader in Industrial Print ! Position Summary: My Plates Technical Applications Specialist role is providing bothon-site and remote specialized technical support for lithographic printing plates and associated chemistry to my clients customers. This role will require technical trouble shooting for issues arising in both the pre-press and Printroom environments, installations of printing plates along with product testing of new and existing plate products and associated chemistries Key Responsibilities:
* Resolution of technical trouble shooting printing plate issues arising in both the pre-press and Printroom environments.
* Liaise with Quality Assurance and generate accurate reports for product complaint investigations.
* Pre-sales technical support including product demonstrations, press testing along with pre-press / pressroom site audits.
* Managing all aspects of introducing plates in a new installation or product changes.
* Bringing each customer to a high level of satisfaction with the Plate and Chemistry portfolio through on-going after sales support.
* Carry out New Product Development testing toinclude site selection, execution of tests & reports on product performance.
* Mentoring and training of customers on plate products to optimise performance.
* Report all activity into Service reporting system.
* Analyse customer requirements with respect to product suitability.
* Ensure plate products are operating at the standard working parameters to optimise plate performance
Qualifications And Experience:
* Several years' experience working in the lithographic print industry.
* Wide technical application knowledge of pre-press processes and pressroom within the lithographic print segment
* Very good knowledge of lithographic sheet fed and web printing.
* English fluent in spoken and written is essential.
* Good knowledge in MS Office and database systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when communicating with customers* Customer focused
* Flexible and willingness to travel extensively within UK & sometimes abroad.
* Self-motivated, ability to manage own workload and to work under pressure
