If you area Multi skilled Maintenance engineer seeking a highly automated environment which you can work within and further develop your skills then this role is for you!
Working in the Coventry area you will work on a continental shift pattern covering both days and nights and be exposed to Robotics, PLC Controlled automation and general machinery within the plastics manufacturing sector.
The Maintenance Engineer role:
- Ensuring continuity of production when breakdowns occur within a manufacturingenvironment.
- Solving Mechanical, electrical and controls problems on automated production machines.
- Completion of proactive planned maintenance tasks to ensure continued machinery efficiency.
- Work as part of a team problem solving Kaizen events to improve efficiency.
- Maintain Engineering spares control and economical use.
The Successful Maintenance Engineer:
- Multi skilled, ideally Electrically biased but up 60/40 Mechanical biased will also be considered.
-Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ level 3 or ONC / OND and either a formal apprenticeship or experience in industry working as an Engineer.
- Confident using PLC's to diagnose and repair machinery faults.
- Any experience of Robotics (Kuka / Fanuc / ABB ) would be highly advantageous but not essential.
