Lead Technician
My client, a leading plastics manufacturing company in South West Limerick are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to manage their Grinding department.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overall activities of the Grinding Department.What is my client offering you?

Responsibilities: (A Snapshot…)
* Support with planning and scheduling of product changes with the Management Team to consistently meet expected product delivery schedules and inventory levels.
* Responsible for assuring the efficient use of materials, machines, auxiliary equipment and employees.
* Troubleshoot Grinder processes, machines, and auxiliary equipment problems and make necessary changes to ensure quality and reduce downtime.
* Set Grinding process parameters to ensure product meets dimensional and quality requirements.
* Provide technical assistance to Grinding technicians and operators.* Maintain employee performance review, training, development and disciplinary programs.
* Provide leadership in the maintenance of all operational systems and process controls associated with Grinding processing, Grinder maintenance, equipment maintenance and repair. (Documented Grinder set ups, process intervention logs, product dimensional and visual evaluations supportingproduct requirements, product validations, etc.).
* Ensure compliance to all Grinding area related procedures, policies and work instructions.
Requirements:
* Engineering Degree or trade equivalent
* Good general knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
* A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a production company with strong leadership skills
* Understanding good manufacturing practices
* Understanding PM and TPM
* Ability to lead by teaching.
* Solid writtenand spoken English skills
