A well-established, well reputed manufacturing business based in the Milton Keynes area are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join them ona days basis
You will be joining a friendly team and working within a combination role, which will involve some hands on andsome office based planning and facilitation.
The Maintenance Supervisor Role:
- You will manage the activities of amulti-disciplined engineering team drawing the best out of everyone through motivation and training where required.
- The successful Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with operations with the objective of maximising operational effectiveness andmachine availability.
- Planning & Coordination of maintenance activities on site, assigning Maintenance Engineers with suitable tasks.
- Ensure all Health & Safety guidelines are met and adhered to personally and within the maintenance engineering team.
- You will be the escalation point for particularly tricky to solve Mechanical and Electrical maintenance issueswhere the Engineers are unable to resolve or need extra support.
- Liaison with the Preventative Maintenance Supervisor to achieve maximum departmental effectiveness and efficiency.
The Successful Maintenance Supervisor:
- Proven experiencewithin a maintenance Engineering role, the successful candidate will be confident within Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to confidently and effectively coordinate a small team of Engineers, leading by example.
- Qualifiedwithin an Engineering discipline, the Maintenance Team leader will ideally have completed an Apprenticeship, but other academicroutes will be considered.
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing / production environment is essential
- Astrong understanding of H&S standards
