Description:
Purpose:
Effective management of production processes and teams. Driving customer excellence through safe and high-quality manufacturing, utilising robust continuous improvement and lean practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* To plan and coordinate manufacturingand optimisation of resource allocation.
* Identification of Improvements to production though relevant Lean techniques andimplementation of C.I processes.
* Ensure Quality Assurance standards through auditing and inspection.
* Lead and mentor teams. Identify areas for group and individual development/training.
* Manage supply chain and inventory, collaboration with procurement.
* Develop and control budgets identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Communication and Reporting of productionstatus and performance reports.
To be successful in this role:
* Relevant manufacturing Management experience encompassing all responsibilities of this role.
* Moulding/Metal Fabrication knowledge would be ideal but most production environments considered.
* Preferred degree qualified (engineering/manufacturing operation etc) but consider just relevant experience.* Strong knowledge of quality and safety compliance.
* Engineering understanding.
* Customer-focused / Problem-solving ability / Data analysis proficiency.
