Mechanical Project Engineer - 2 Year ContractDue to an increase in projects our client, a well-known and highly respected company in Limerick are currently seeking additional Mechanical Project Engineers to join their team on a 2 year contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering department, on a wide range of CAPEX and OPEX projects focusing on safety, environment and production improvements to the plant.
You will be responsible for the full life cycle of the projects including initial scope meetings, completing concept design and budget estimates to liaising with contractorsduring construction. Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience handling major projects with a strong knowledge of pumps, valves, storage tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers etc…
Requirements
* Mechanical, Chemical or other related engineering degree
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an industrial process environment
* Experience implementing chemical process and/or power piping projects, to EN, ASME or ANSI standards highly desirable
* Knowledge of pumps, valves, storagetanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other process equipment.
