Tired of working on the road? We are currently recruiting on an on-site maintenance engineer for the leading provider of infection control. This is a huge opportunity for an engineer with a strong electronic/mechanical background as full training will beprovided and engineers with varied experience will be considered.
What will your day to day activities look like?
*To ensure that all plant and machines are maintained and repaired to enable the provision of the service.
* To oversee the work of all contract and service engineers.
* To perform the weekly tests as required to maintain sterilisers/washers in accordance with CfPP.
* To inform the National Maintenance Manager of any changes in machine cycle profile and any resulting maintenance.
* To ensure all machinery is serviced before the commencement of quarterly and annual validation.
* To facilitate thescheduling of yearly validation of plant equipment.
* To maintain all validation/calibration certification required for MDD registration.
* To maintain spare parts and tools store and advise the National Maintenance Manager on stock level replenishment.
* To participate in an on-call rota.
* There may be a requirement to travel to other sites and locations within the Group.* To participate as an integral member of the sterile processing team and actively contributing to suggestions of innovationcontinuous improvement and best practice.
What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?
Required Experience* NHC/NHD in Electronic and or Mechanical Engineering
* Knowledge of multiple PLC (Siemens, ABB, Allen Bradley)
* 5 plus years' experience as an engineer working on electronic and or mechanical systems
Preferred Experience
* Boiler, compressor, reverse osmosis and softening systems, air handling units and air conditioning systems
* IOSH/NEBOSH
* City and Guild:18th Edition of the IET wiring regulations (BS 7671)
* Decontamination experience on washer / disinfectors and autoclaves
