MESManager - Remote (Mainly covering Norfolk) - £50,000 & £5K Car Allowance
The MES Manager is responsible for executing theday-to-day management of the Managed Equipment Service (MES) provision at the Norfolk & Norfolk University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH) with the objective of providing excellent operational service delivery and maintaining and growing the strong professional relationships with key stakeholders. The MES Manager also will support radiotherapy services across the companyat multiple MES sites.
Main Duties:
* Responsibility for interface with internal functions such as procurement, finance,new business and the Customer Care Centre
* Provide support to the Senior Clinical Lead for Radiotherapy
* Work professionally as a key member of the Managed Equipment Services, and to communicate regularly and effectively with other team members
*Work closely with the Director of Radiotherapy MES and the Senior Clinical Lead for Radiotherapy regarding all aspects of service delivery, performance management, contractual issues and P&L reporting
* KPI reporting and continuous improvement plansare completed to high standards
* Attend and provide support to joint investment committee meetings and service reviews
* Bea strong networker, with proven ability to create professional relationships with members of the clinical/technical community and internally with members of business development and other areas that interact with the project(s) To contribute to internal steering group and strategy meetings
* Liaise with the Director of Radiotherapy MES and the Senior Clinical Lead for Radiotherapy over budget management making recommendations to achieving efficiency and working with the commercial & procurement division and other colleagues to optimise purchasing and operational efficiencies
* Contribute to MES value proposition developmentand MES process improvement
* Develop continuous improvement culture within MES Operations
* Establishment of good relationships with the Trust and other key stakeholders, including Varina, other equipment manufacturers, and internal staff
What youwill need;
* 5 years experience working in NHS/Private Healthcare
* Management & Leadership trained
* Registered Clinical Scientist/Technologist
* Degree quailified in Biomedical/Radiotherapy or equivalent
* Excellent Influencing and negotiation skills
* Detailed up-to-date knowledge of managing a wide range of medical equipment, in particular radiotherapy equipment, including technical understanding
* Understanding of clinical workflows
* Worked with and influenced senior NHS clinical staff
* Specification of medical equipment
* MHRA Managing Medical Devices
* Contract management skills
* Strong background in radiotherapy
* Experience of managing major equipment deliveries and installations
* Full UK Driving Licence

This is a remote role but main focus will be in the Norfolk area with 2/3 days per weeek site attendance in Norwich or across other sites within the UK.
