The Company
I am recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of innovative print, software, managed solutions and IT services .As part of this globally recognised Corporation, my client's are at the forefront of technical innovation ensuring they can fulfil all printing and copying requirements.
Their portfolio includes hardware products ranging from MFPs through to high-speed production print systems. Also software solutions, combining premium level service support to offer customers a powerful Managed Print Service (MPS).
I am looking for an experienced, self-motivated Customersupport engineer based in South West London The role will be field based, where you will coordinate your routes the night before and attend customer sites to install, repair & service Multi-functional Equipment and software.
It is essential that youhave experience in Multi-function Printers as well as having networking capabilities.
Working hours are between 8:30am - 5pm.
The successful applicant will be issued with a company vehicle therefore must have a full driving license.
Key Responsibilities:
* To attend service calls and provide the necessary MFP/hardware support
* Installation of MFP's.
* Repair of hardware.
* Maintain vehicle stock to minimise losses.
* Perform to KPI's in line with company policy.
* Build relationshipswith users at sites.
* Uphold great customer service
* Prepare and set up MFD's/Products associated with client portfolio* Refurbish secondhand MFD's/Products
* To connect equipment to customers PC's and networks by installing print drivers on servers and local PC's. Set up scanning and other functionality over the network
* Diagnose and resolve advanced network MFD related issues
* Provide relevant training on both hardware and software
* Provide support and cover when necessary for other roles
* Ad hoc tasks to assist the operation of logistics and service support
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Thesuccessful applicant will be technically minded with experience in fault finding and repair of photocopiers and printers in a field -based role.
