Description:
Our client, based in East Cork region, requires a Project Manager to join their multi national company (the Cork facilityhas 200+ people on site). You will be joining an expanding company that currently has €30M CAPEX projects that need to bemanaged.
Do you have an Engineering Degree?
Do you have 3/5 years Project Management experience gained in a manufacturing environment? (CAPEX, process, civil, new equipment projects)
Do you have excellent AUTOCAD, MS Project computer skills?
You will be reporting in to the Operations Manager and will be part of the site leadership team. In you new Project Manager job you will have autonomy and the ability to be heard and not just a number.
Your duties will include:
* Manage, plan, organise,and direct activities concerned with projects
* Manage and co-ordinate all activities relating to new and existing plant facilities
* Develop project plans and schedules and execute plans to achieve.
* Co-ordinate project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures and Engineering Specifications.
* Achieve a 'right first time' philosophy throughout the project life cycle.
* To be responsible for the successful delivery of projects through leadership, management, technical & engineering expertise throughout the project life-cycle.
* Manage the day to day operations of subcontractors on site
* Agree sub-contractors' long term and short term program and monitor performance
