Job Title: Security Systems Installation and Service Engineer
Main Responsibilities:
I amseeking a skilled and dedicated Security Systems Installation and Service Engineer to join my client's team. As a key member oftheir Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in installing and maintaining security systems to meet our client's requirements. Your main responsibilities will include:
* Installing and fitting a wide range of security systems, such as Intruder Alarms, Access Systems, and CCTV, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
* Demonstrating proficiency in IP Systems, Analogue, and Networking CCTV, with a particular emphasis on IP-based systems.
* Working with Access Controls, preferably with Paxton training.
* Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, adhering to NSI guidelines.
* Performing routine servicing and maintenance of all security systems.
* Handling installations for large Commercial and Industrial projects.
* Utilising your experience in fault finding to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records, including jobsheets and commissioning documents.
* Ensuring a safe work environment and adhering to high standards of Health and Safety practices.
* Preparing Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
* Conducting client training sessions and demonstrations to explain system functionality.
Key Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
* Possession of a valid UK driving licence.
* Willingness to travel across the mainland UK for on-site work, occasionally requiring overnight stays.
* Availability for on-call duties on a rotational basis (approximately 1 in 6 weeks).
* Taking responsibility for van stock levels and maintaining cleanliness.
* IPAF and ECS training (or a willingness to undergo training).
* Ability topass a DBS Security check.
Technical Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in the following areas:* Proficiency in IP-based CCTV configuration.
* Familiarity with Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom.
* Beneficial knowledge of Avigilon, Hikvision.
