iOhave been engaged in the recruitment of a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a client of ours based in the Somerset area. They are going through a growth phase and looking to add strength to many areas of the business off the back of years of great success.
My client has multiple offices across the UK and are specialists in designing and manufacturing bespoke pumps and valves. These products have applications that cover a wide range of industries that includes Power Generation, Semiconductor and Chemical.
This company are very motivated to bring on another Senior Electrical Design Engineer into their team of Mechanical andElectrical Engineers to help support the work that the current team is doing and to boost the capabilities of the company. Thiswill include directing the work, mentoring and supporting more junior engineers and designers.
As a Senior member of the team, you must have a good electrically biased engineering degree (or other engineering qualification depending on experience) plusat least 5 years' post degree experience.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will work as part of a multi-disciplined team creating and modifying electrical schematics as well as producing assembly drawings for control panels and looms. This experience will preferably have been gained in either the semiconductor equipment or process industries.
You will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD for the drafting of electrical schematics. Experience specifically of AutoCAD Electrical would be an advantage.
