Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Hereford
£30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work at ourclient's site in Hereford to design the mechanical aspect of electronic / RF equipment, the constituent parts and produce 3D models for general use by team members.
Working as part of the team of Engineers whilst working in partnership with other business areas, the role encompasses but is not restricted to the following:
·To design and develop a range of modules and equipment extending from simple metal housings to complex equipment, accommodating multiple interacting modules housed in densely populated chassis
·Integrating electronics into mechanics and any 19inch rack design
·Produce 3D models for manufacturing, concept visualisation and proof of mechanical design integrity
·Produce mechanical drawings to industry standards for manufacturing purposes
·Define tolerances and finish details in line with product technical requirements and manufacturing limitations; through liaison with fabrication houses, industry standards and product technical leads
If you have a minimum of 5 years' industry experience, extensive experience in 3D CAD design and the ability to generate manufacturing and assembly drawing with proven trackrecord to industry standards we would love to hear from you.
