This company is an established start-up who have already brought products to market so have a strong and successful business meaning you will enjoy stable employment. Now, due to their continued success, they require a new Senior Mechanical Engineer to assist in the design and fabrication of these highly advanced, precision designed aircraft!
This company has a truly unique range of products that have both military and civilian applications, this includes a product that can remain completely undetected whilst moving through combat zones to detect and report on enemylocation or rapidly scan coasts in search & rescue missions in a low-cost, low-risk approach.
This position will likelygrow into more senior posts demanding more responsibility with mentoring and management.
This is set to be a highly hands-onrole so having a firm understanding of the manufacturing processes, CNC work and metalwork is essential for this post.
You will be working on projects from the ground up, so you must be a self-starter and be able to get involved in everything from conceptualisation, CAD design, working alongside the manufacturing team, all the way through to dealing with the suppliers.
Essential requirements:
* Solidworks (must be a competent user)
* Aerospace background (or similar)
* Hands-on (strong workshop experience)
