THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is working with a reputable and well-established business based in Wigan who are recruiting for an experienced Toolmaker.
My client are looking for an experienced Toolmaker with experience of working in a Precision Engineering environment who has proven experience of using Manual Lathes, Milling and Grinding machines and has excellent bench skills. Experience with blow or injection die and moulds is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Developing Tools, Jigs, Fixtures & Moulds
* Studying and working to engineering drawings and Computer Models
* Applying knowledge of materials, machining and assembly methods.
THE PERSON:
* Experience within a similar Toolmaking role is essential
* Have a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent in a precision engineering environment, ideally in the Blow or Injection die and mould industry
