A truly exceptional business with which people once appointed seem to stay within for decades rather thanyears are recruiting for several Engine Workshop Technicians to join them on a permanent basis in the Wellingborough area!This is a days based role, working Monday to Friday 8am - 4:00pm.
You will join the business to complete the followingactivities:
- Working on Diesel Engines you will troubleshoot, repair and rebuild engine products in a service workshop.- Follow documented procedures for diagnostics and complex repairs.
- Coach and develop other technicians and apprenticesto transfer knowledge and experience where appropriate.
- Completion of reactive maintenance on engines after condition assessed.
- Document works completed on time sheets and warranty claim forms.
The successful Workshop Technician:
-Some exposure to working with Engine strip down and rebuild.
- Diesel engine experience would be a significant advantage.- Confident diagnosing and repairing Engine faults, mechanically and electrically.
- Diligent worker with a eye for detail,confidence to coach and willingness to complete required paperwork.
