The Role

My client, a large, internationally recognised Insurance Group is seeking and experienced Account Executive to join their team in Swords, North County Dublin. This is an office-based, 12-month maternity leave contract with the potential of permanency within the business.

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining a book of business across all sectors, with a view to growing the business at every opportunity. You will have at least three year's experience within a commercial sales role and will hold a full, clean drivers license.



Tasks & Duties

* Ensure New Business/Renewal targets are achieved.
* At all times to follow good practice in ensuring the client's best interests are served.
* Implement Company's Compliance and office procedures including New Business Development and
* Renewal Procedures document.
* Follow up on Pipeline activity and or renewal lists to ensure all business opportunities are explored and followed through.
* Ensure that you are up-to-date with market practice and product availability, giving feedback to Management in relation to market issues, including pricing, service levels and product development.
* Inspire client loyalty through efficient and friendly service delivery.
* Ensure all accounts are collected in a timely manner.
* Assist in technology good practice.
* Attend localChamber and networking events where required.
* Where required, work with other teams within the Group to facilitate training,product development and to promote operational efficiency's.
* Liaise with Marketing Manager where required on development ofMarketing Plan for the Retail Department.
* Attend client visits with Management as required.
* Assist with projects as required.
* Diary Management.



Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

* Minimum of 3 year's experience in a commercial sales role - essential.
* Minimum APA Commercial or Grandfathered Commercial with proof of up-to-date CPD - essential.* Full clean driving licence - essential.
* Sound technical product knowledge and knowledge of the general insurance market.* Experience broking for Camera and Videographer insurance would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Flexible and results driven.
* Extremely well organised with excellent time management skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative, meet deadlines and work under pressure in a busy environment.
