INSURANCE ACCOUNT HANDLER MANCHESTER CENTER SALARY UP TO £45,000 PLUS HYBRID WORKING

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get recruited are so proud to be representing one of Manchester's oldest and most well known Insurance brokers who are looking to add a number of experienced Client Services Exec's to their ever growing team based in the City Center.

As an Insurance Account Handler you will be working in a fast-paced environment working with various clients to arrange cover for both new business and renewals. You will also benefit from support to complete your CII, internal support and training and the opportunityto work with some of the most experienced Brokers and Account Execs to improve your knowledge and progress your career.

Thisis a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual from an Account handling / Broking / Insurance Broker background to join a thriving an rewarding business who are one of the best in their field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Understand client needs andidentify the most effective cover for their requirements
* Manage the renewal/placing process in a timely manner, obtaining renewal terms and quotes, remarketing renewals when required, highlighting potential risks and agreeing terms in line with clientrequirements including any mid-term alterations.
* Confirm renewal/placing cover with insurers and Invoicing premiums.
* Ensure accurate recording of information on Acturis
* Keep up to date with current market conditions and external factors affecting the Clients Business and sector
* Invoice premiums and where required, set up direct debit agreements for new business andrenewal, liaising with the company accounts team and insurers directly

THE PERSON:

* Experience within commercial andproperty owners insurance
* Experience of managing large property portfolios in Excel whilst maintaining an active record ofpremiums, using formulas, an understanding of insurer ratings, mid-term adjustment calculations and clear understanding of creating mail merges to process documentation whilst using Excel as a record for all data would be an advantage.
* Cert CII / willingness to continue to progress towards Professional Qualifications
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills with an ability to secure the best deals for clients and our business
* Ability to develop and manage good working relationships with clients and insurers through building trust and mutual respect
