£22,000 to £25,000 + COMMISSION
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY:We're exclusively supporting a market leading business located in Hove who is looking to expand their Business Development Teamand looking to shortlist candidates for interview over the coming days.
As a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for prospecting and generating new sales leads for the Business and the development of leads for all the business solutions products they have to offer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to work for a top level organisation where you can grow your Insurance knowledge and with the help of study support look to progress your career even further wit a firm who looks to promote their best talent.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Create quote appointments for the New BusinessExecutives, meetings and exceeding daily telephone targets.
* Manage own prospects, developing into quality sales appointmentsand refreshing the data.
* Investigate and research prospects updating the data we hold, identifying key decision makers andthe business profile.
* Obtain and confirm prospects renewal dates and record or update in the TAM record to ensure the continuous development of the database.
* Deliver leads for the Business Solutions suite of products: Energy, Telecoms, IT, EmployeeBenefits, Recruitment & Consultancy, Business Supplies, Health Protection, Wealth Management & Finance and Risk Management.
* Attend New Business team meetings and huddles
* Ad-hoc project support.
* Follow TCF principles and applying FCA's6 key outcomes to your role
* Ensure all statutory and company legislation is followed to protect clients, colleagues and business interest.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
* Demonstrable ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets
* Proven track record of strong client relationships.
* Insurance knowledge is not a must, but this would be advantageous.
SKILLS:
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Articulate and presentable with the ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
*Capable of working on own initiative and managing own workload effectively
* Able to work cooperatively with New Business andGI teams and wider QCIS team members.
* Demonstrate resilience and the ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent negotiation skills.
* Competent with Microsoft office, word, excel and outlook.
