Claims Handler
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: Up to£35,000 per annum
We proud to represent a well-established, traditional commercial insurance brokerage seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their team in Shrewsbury.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and manage insurance claims for our commercial clients
* Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and other relevant parties
* Ensure claims are handled efficientlyand in compliance with regulations
* Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to clients
* Identify potential issues and escalate complex claims when necessary
Requirements:
* Proven experience in commercial insurance claims handling
* Excellent knowledge of insurance products and claims processes
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) preferred
* Experience with paper-based systems and Acturis software
* Comfortable working with both traditional and digital processes
