COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER
SOUTH MANCHESTER
£25,000 to £30,000 SALARY
THE OPPORTUNITY:
One of the north west most well established brokers is now looking to expand after recent acquisition and has a position for a Commercial Account Handler as well as many other roles in the pipeline within thier office just outside Manchester. The candidate will need to be highly motivated and looking to grow their career and have previous insurance experience to give them the best start within this thriving business.
When you start as an Account Handler you will provide support to the AccountExecutives and other areas of the business while dealing with client portfolio requests, such as mid-term adjustments and renewals actions.
Long standing clients will expect you to be their main contact within the business, therefore you will need to have the required skills to deal with all queries and relevant issues which may arise and the ability to deal with them swiftly and efficiantly.

£25,000 to £30,000
Ongoing Training and a Clear Development Path with study support providedif you wish to progress with further qualifications.
COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER ROLE:
* Be the first point of contact forday-to-day enquiries from clients, providers and other internal and external sources
* Ensure the smooth running of assignedportfolio on a day-to-day basis
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients and insurers at all levels
* Respond to queries from both clients and insurers in a pro-active manner
* Manage the administration of schemes including invoicing, claimsdata, and communication materials
* Preparation of client reports when requested by Account Executive
* Attending client meetings if requested from the Account Exec
* Keeping client records and information updated in following company policies
THE PERSON:
* Commercial Insurance knowledge/experience, within a Broker or Insurer
* Good communication skills, decision making and problem-solving ability.
* Ability to build longstanding client relationships.
* Thrives under pressure and has the ability to deal with large amounts of information quickly when needed.
* Negotiating skills
* Driven to learn and progresswithin your role and the field of Insurance through completion of your ACII or further education.
