£28,000 to £38,000 SALARY + ONGOING STUDY SUPPORT
THE OPPORTUNITY:
One of the most well established brokers is now looking to expand after recent acquisition and has a position for a Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join the team just outside Barnsley. The candidate will needto be highly motivated to grow their career within the insurance profession and have previous insurance experience to give themthe best start within a thriving business.
When you start as a Commercial Insurance Account Handler you will provide supportto the Account Executives and other areas of the business while dealing with client portfolio requests, such as mid-term adjustments and renewals actions.
Clients will expect you to be their main contact within the business, therefore you will need tohave the required skills to deal with all queries and relevant issues which may arise and the ability to deal with them swiftly.COMMERCIAL INSURANCE ACCOUNT HANDLER ROLE:
* Be the first point of contact for day-to-day enquiries from clients, providers and other internal and external sources
* Ensure the smooth running of assigned portfolio on a day-to-day basis
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients and insurers at all levels
* Respond to queries from both clients and insurers in apro-active manner
* Manage the administration of schemes including invoicing, claims data, and communication materials
* Preparation of client reports when requested by Account Executive
* Attending client meetings if requested from the Account Exec* Keeping client records and information updated in following company policies
THE PERSON:
* Commercial Insurance knowledge/experience, within a Broker or Insurer
* Good communication skills, decision making and problem-solving ability.
* Ability to build longstanding client relationships.
* Thrives under pressure and has the ability to deal with large amounts of information quickly when needed.
* Negotiating skills
* Driven to learn and progress within your role and the field of Insurance through completion of your ACII or further education.
