DERBY
SALARY OTE £44,000 + CAR ALLOWANCE

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are very excited to again be partnering with a long standing client who are looking to add a Branch Manager to their commercial Insurance team after recent unprecedented growth.This role will be to oversee the running of the branch while providing support a guidance to the Account Handlers & Development Execs within your branch. This will mainly be within commercial lines and some smaller personal lines business

You will need to be highly motivated and have experience dealing with employees, clients and customers at all levels and be able to manage this workload effectively.

The Branch Manager role could fit someone coming from a senior commercial insurance background who's looking to take the next step into a management position, or an experienced manager who's yet to take a role at branch level.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* You've held a role as an Account Executive/Broker/Senior Account Handler/ and havea well established commercial insurance knowledge. A major part of this role is to reach excellent retention rates of clients* You will be accountable for all business traded through the Branch brokers, including profitability, sales and servicing of new business managed in Branch and renewals.
* Lead, motivate and develop the management team across the Branch to deliver market leading sales and service offerings.
* Create an open and honest culture across the Branch which drives engagement, development and support.
* Build, manage and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, including allkey customers and networks

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

* Experience of working at a senior level within a commercial insurance environment; sound understanding of insurance market and processes essential.
* Track record of managing a profitable P&L.
* Excellent relationship management skills and experience of building successful long-term relationships both internal and external.
* Ability to create and maintain an open and honest culture which drives engagement, development and opportunity for all employees.
* People and resource management skills, with proven experience and ability in leading and motivating teams.
* Strong service ethos and proven track record in improvingstandards and customer service.
