The Opportunity:
We are delighted to be working with a well-established insurance brokerage firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional with expertise inthe construction industry to play a pivotal role in growing our commercial book of business.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain a profitable portfolio of commercial clients, with a focus on the construction sector
* Conduct comprehensive risk analysis and provide tailored insurance solutions to mitigate risks
* Negotiate terms and premiums with underwriters to secure optimal coverage for clients
* Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor
* Staycurrent with industry regulations, market trends, and product developments
* Achieve and surpass new business and revenue targets
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Insurance Broker, with proven success in construction insurance
* Thorough understanding of construction risks, contractual requirements, and risk management strategies
* Strong technical expertise in policy wordings, endorsements, and claims handling
* Exceptional client-facing skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information
* Proficiency in using insurance management systems, preferably Acturis
* Commitment to delivering outstanding client service and achieving growth targets
