They are growing their dedicated New Business Team and need an additional team member to embrace their vision and drive new business growth. The company is open to discussing flexible work arrangements to accommodate work/life balanceneeds.
The Position:
* Underwrite new business opportunities by reviewing broker presentations and assessing risks perestablished guidelines.
* Underwrite profitable business while maintaining acceptable loss ratios.
* Implement key performance metrics for new business growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues and account managers to secure new accounts.
* Learn and adopt the company's systems, product lines, and internal procedures.
* Provide technical expertise on program business to brokers and internal stakeholders.
* Prospect and network with designated broker partners.
* Assist with testing new programs, identifying product enhancements, and rating initiatives.
Required Skills:
* Experience in Commercial Insurance Underwriting - ideally with experience with liabilities packages.
* CertCII achieved or woring towards.
* Excellent verbal communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Confident decision-making capabilities.
* Proactive, passionate, and professional approach.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
