Panoramic Associates are delighted to be partnered with a leading general insurer in their search for a Compliance Officer based in London.This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing business in their 'second line of defence' with principal responsibilityto support of the Compliance Plan.
Responsibilities:
* Providing technical guidance, support and advice to the Businessto ensure compliance with FCA and ICO provisions
* Achieving specific elements of agreed Compliance plans in accordance with agreed timescales
* Identify and monitor regulatory changes, as well as provide appropriate briefings to personnel and clients* Assist with implementing updates and changes of legislation by modifying existing procedures and documentation and by educating and training staff
* Manage the review of Company Policies and all associated documentation, identifying updates/amendments as necessary
* Respond to routine compliance enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders
Experience:
* Solid background in compliance from a general insurance perspective
* Proven ability to lead or manage significant regulatory projects and initiatives
* Experience of compliance monitoring and/or quality assurance activity
* Excellent understanding ofFCA Regulatory requirements
* Proven ability to interpret and apply insurance intermediary requirements set out within the FCAHandbook & Regulatory guides
