Description:

This hugely successful Pensions Administration Software corporate is seeking an Implementation Analyst with experience of Bulk Purchase Annuities, to join a new BPA on-boarding team that all work fully remotely from across the UK.

The Implementation Analyst will play an active part within the team which is responsible for On-boarding Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) Schemes.

Significant experience within the pensions industry and a strong technical pension's background is therefore required, alongside knowledge of DB Schemes & Bulk Purchase Annuities.

This exciting new team is not only responsible for the core configuration of the system, but also working closely with those teams that undertake the development of the Administration software, contributing to future development plans, reviewing enhancement requests, undertaking Administration systems roll-outs and producing prototypes for new functionality and enhancements.

The Role Includes:

* Working across all aspects of the Pensions Administration system
* Loading and importing bulk annuity data using internal & external tools
* Analysing and assessing pension data extracts against standards, ensuring final extracts are in line with the relevant benefit specification
* Undertaking validation of data extracts through standard checks, control totals and production of agreed test scenario outputs
* Identifying any data issues and raising these with the client through the query log
* Highlighting areas of potential development and what efficiencies could be gained
* Configuring scheme, category and element parameters within the Pension Administration application
* Maintaining integrated spreadsheets
* Checking & authorising factor usage and maintaining factor feeds
* Validating interface requirements
* Configuring member communications to reflect bespoke specific scheme requirements
* Collaborating with internal & external clientsto understand their requirements for the Pension Administration application
* Analysing, understanding , documenting and estimating the client requirements
* Developing excellent relationships with internal stakeholders, Trustee administrators and client stakeholders
* Continually assessing & improving the implementation practices and procedures
* Working closely with the development team to refine and improve the system

Skills & Experience:

* Solid experience within the Pensions industry with a strong technical pensions background, particularly in the area of DB schemes & Bulk Purchase Annuities (BPA) inparticular
* Experience of using Pension systems configuration tools
* Can demonstrate effective and probing appraisal of situations, consulting with relevant parties in resolving issues
* Self-motivated with demonstrable tenacity and objectivity inproblem solving to get the job done effectively
* Relevant qualifications in the Pensions & Actuarial Industry are desirable (e.g. Pensions Management Institute Certification)
* Enjoys taking ownership of the role and delivery to the client
* ADegree qualification is beneficial
