THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're exclusively supporting a specialist Insurance Broker with many years experience working within the north west within HNW, Commercial & Personal Lines Insurance. They are looking to expand their Account Handling/Renewals team as part of their growth plans over the coming12 months following an extremely successful year.
As a Insurance Advisor you'll be asked to fully support the Personal Linesdivision with renewals based queries.
You will also provide a comprehensive insurance service to existing and potential new customers in accordance FCA requirements.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a specialist broker where you can gain awealth of knowledge and progress your career to a higher level.
The have a wide range of progression opportunities, like supporting people with study and financial support when working towards their CII Exams. Should you also wish to progress throughoutthe business they have fast track management courses you can attend.
THE PACKAGE:
£24,000 to £26,000 Basic
Ongoing Training with a Clear Development Path
INSURANCE ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Advising on existing products.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills
* Knowledge of personal Lines & motor insurance would be advantageous
* Able to work with SnrAcc handlers, Acc Execs & BD Execs.
* Working along side in house teams, supporting on both renewal and new business functions
* Ensuring you are a effective communicator in both written and verbal.
* Maintaining a good working relationship withthe contact services team.
THE PERSON:
* Technical knowledge of all classes of personal lines policies
* Spoken and written communication skills
* Excellent sales and negotiation skills
* Honesty and integrity
* Strong organisational skillsand attention to detail
* Drive and motivation to meet targets
* Good business sense
QUALIFICATIONS
* Good understanding of general insurance
* Experience of working within budgets
* CII qualified or working towards
* 1 years experience working in a broker
* Previous experience using Acturis system
