Validation Manager to join the team in Buckinghamshire / London and inform business, media and government policy.
The Role
You will provide assurance for the company's capital models and projections,including the Solvency II Internal Model (IM), ORSA and Standard Formula (SF). The role is within the Risk and Compliance function and reporting to the Chief Risk Officer.
- Strong technical experience of capital model design, build, parameterisation and documentation
- Experience of model validation including hands on experience performing the suite of validation tests
-Experience working with general insurance capital modelling software such as Igloo or Tyche, SII and ORSA modelling, SII standard formula
- Experience of preparing for IMAP submission
- Strong and broad experience of actuarial work related to capitalgained in a general insurance company or consultancy at a management level
- Experience of working with a Risk function
-Degree and IoFA Qualified with at least 1-2 years post qualified experience (or equivalent) in a general insurance organisationalthough non-qualified applicants would be considered
- Pro-active innovator and problem solver
Salary/Benefits
-£80,000 - £90,000 DoE
- Up to 10% bonus
- Pension scheme (up to 10.5% of salary employer contribution)
