SENIOR COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER
BIRMINGHAM
SALARY £30,000 to £45,000
THE OPPORTUNITY:
One of Birmingham's most respected brokers is now looking to expand their Senior Commercial Account Handling team after recent unprecedented growth and has a position for a claims handler to join them. The candidate will need to be highly motivated and looking to grow their career within the Insurance profession.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Arranging and securing appropriate cover fornew business and renewals, including recognising and highlighting cross-sell opportunities or uninsured areas, and involving keystakeholders throughout the process
* Responsible for assigned renewals, MTAs and quotations in accordance with the company renewal process and placement strategy
* Understanding clients their risk exposures and insurance needs
* Dealing with insurers regarding quotations, policy and claims queries in accordance with the company's service level agreements
* Manage Aged Debtors within the agreed service standards, escalating to key stakeholders where applicable, ensuring the client has the most appropriate method of premium finance available to them

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
* To already possess, or achieve Diploma in Insurance status within two yearsof starting with the company
* Minimum of 3 year's experience

* Strong communicator and ability to manage internal and external relationships
* Have strong influencing, negotiating, problem solving and analytical skills
*Be highly organised
* Adaptable, focused and professional
* Effective at managing expectations
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE* knowledge of the Financial Services market
* Broking skills and knowledge of the range of products / policies
* Knowledge of our key insurer products and solution's
* Sales and service knowledge, particularly sales through service
* Keep up todate with insurance industry developments and regulatory changes
