The Role
SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit an experienced Senior Pricing Analyst for an established Insurance company based in the thriving jurisdiction of Gibraltar. You will be highly numerate and analytical, with a good knowledge of predictive modelling, including GLMs and machine-learning techniques. Most important for the Senior Pricing Analyst is a proactive attitude, willingness to take responsibility, and a genuine interest in data analytics.
You will ideally have used software's such as Radar and Earnix during your career to date. Insurance experience is not essential if the sought after skillset has been obtained in anothersector.
Our client is open to applicants who wish to be based in the UK rather than Gibraltar.

What You Will Be Doing
The pricing team carry out detailed analysis and statistical modelling to help optimise prices ofour client's insurance products. Tasks will include:

Carrying out statistical modelling using GLMs and machine learning techniques.

Optimising, implementing and monitoring pricing for insurance products, using Earnix software.
*Using software such as SQL, Excel, Python and R to produce and manipulate data sets for modelling and analysis.
*
Producing, analysing and interpreting management information relating to performance of insurance products.
*
Effectively communicating the impact of pricing actions to the wider business.
*
Investigating and responding to queries from other areas ofthe business relating to pricing.
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
*
A Degree in a numerate subject (Maths / Statistics etc).
*
Interest & experience with statistical modelling and machine learning techniques.
*Experience working with large datasets.
*
Experience of programing languages such as SQL, Python and R.
*
Experience managing and leading important projects.
*
Strong Excel skills.
*
Excellent communication skills.
