RISK ANALYST

THE OPPORTUNITY:
One of the biggest insurance brokers in Europe is expanding into the UK and they are looking for a Risk Analyst to join their tight-knit London office to work alongside the UK Head of Compliance to build out the UK Risk and Compliance function.

THE ROLE:
* Support the UK Head of Compliance in establishingand reliable qualitative and quantitative risk management environment and strategy.
* Ensure sound risk management in alignment with the wider group strategy and UK regulations.
* Provide support to auditors and regulatory bodies in respect to risk management.
* Provide regular forecast of the development of the UK branch's risk and capital positions for the relevant internal stakeholders both within the branch and the wider group.
* Produce regular financial reporting and capital modelling for local risk management steering.
* Co-ordinate UK related Internal Control System and Outsourcing processes in alignment with thegroup's risk management.
THE PERSON:
* At least 2 years' experience in a risk management role ideally within an insuranceenvironment.
* Knowledge of the UK regulations and Solvency II requirements (including ORSA and RSR).
* Ability and interest in analysing financial flows and impact on capital.
* Good communication and presentation skills.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
* Delivery-focused and solution-oriented
* Flexible and adaptive to a changing market.
* Attention to detail, structured and reliable.
