I am currently working with client within their data protection / privacy team based in their new Dublin Docklands office, which includes cybersecurity, data privacy, and incident response and investigation services. Our team provides a full spectrum of privacy services including privacy assessments, transformation, data protection outsourcing services, privacy breach management, subject access requests amongst others.

Candidates for this role should be self-starters, enjoy problem solving, and be able to do what is necessary for our clients and our team toget the job done in a practical and pragmatic fashion. If you are able to demonstrate leadership skills, project management capability, possess excellent consulting skills, wish to progress your career rapidly and have an interest in data protection thenthis is the role for you. Successful candidates will ideally have a professional services background with experience of managinga variety of mixed expertise teams and experience of giving practical advice and solutions to companies in meeting regulatory and standards-based challenges. They must have excellent problem solving and communication skills, be naturally inquisitive witha keenness to learn data protection and broaden skillsets.

They must have a client-centric ethic because, as a consultant with my client , they will experience direct client facing engagements and project delivery.

Generalist IT project managers, information security, regulatory compliance, risk or internal audit professionals with similar experience will also be considered.The role will require strong client delivery skills, with a passion for data protection and a commitment to personal development. The role will involve client delivery, business development and people development.

Client Delivery

As a consultant in the privacy team, you will deliver excellence for clients, including:

* Working on large privacy transformation engagements -
* Producing deliverables of high quality on multiple small and medium size engagement simultaneously, often managing yourtime whilst working with multiple engagement managers these include data protection assessments, privacy impact assessments andprivacy implementations.
* Supporting Cyber Security client engagements as required.

Business Development:

Consultantsare expected to contribute to business development activities, including:

* Help in identifying and converting opportunitieswith new and existing clients;
* Contributing to sales and marketing materials for bringing our services to market;
* Writing proposals for new client work with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality; and
* Attending events to keep abreastof industry developments and build personal brand capital.

People Development

As a people business, we place a strong emphasis on the development of our people. Consultants are expected to be committed to developing themselves and others, including:* Engaging in course based and on the job training to develop their skillset and increase their value;
* Contributing to the development of more junior staff; and
* Accepting effective feedback and embracing opportunities to grow and develop.

Inaddition to in house training, we will support you in obtaining professionally recognised data protection qualifications.

Required experience:

* A minimum of four years' delivery experience.
* Professional Services/Consulting experience.
* Supervisory and/or management experience of people and resources.
* Strong academic and/or professional qualifications.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrable experience in a client facing role.
* Strong focus on quality and commitment to excellence.
* Strong analytical/problem solving skills.

Desired experience:

* Experience in consulting, preferably in I.T. or regulatory and risk management at a Big 4 or an International Management Consulting practice.
* Experience in professional services sales including pre sales, pipeline generation, proactive client sourcing and tender response.* Relevant data protection qualification (e.g. CIPP).
* Project management qualification (PRINCE2/PMP).
* Relevant professional experience in the field of privacy/data protection.
* Ideally delivered elements of a privacy related change programme.
