The Role
My client, a leading corporate law firm is urgently seeking an experienced Float Legal Secretary to join their busy office based in Dublin 1. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based position with one day work fromhome per week.
As the Float Legal Secretary, you will provide legal secretarial support to Solicitors across all departments.Tasks & Duties
* Secretarial support to Solicitors when staff are on leave or overflow work.
* Audio typing of correspondence and documents from digital dictation
* File Management including opening/set up files, scanning, filing, archiving, photocopying, closing files, requesting files back from storage etc.
* Creating, amending and formatting documents
*Liaising with clients
* Court administration to include preparation of Court documents and briefs
* Invoice management
* Other duties as may arise
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
* A minimum of 3 years legal secretary experience in a busy law firm.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Very strong MS Office & IT skills.
*Excellent attention to detail.
* Fast and accurate typing skills (a minimum of 60 wpm)
* Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
* Strong ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
