THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Compliance Consultancy who are looking for an experienced Regulatory Director to join their rapidly expanding team. You will be responsible for leading the Regulatory team and ensure you are leading by example and training and developing your team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual from a Regulatory Director / Regulatory ComplianceDirector / Compliance Director background who is looking to join an ambitious and expanding business with fantastic benefits andflexibility.
Regulatory Compliance Director Overview:
* Leading the regulatory consulting team, managing the workload ofthe consultants and ensuring client demands are met
* Ensuring the correct policies, procedures and tools are in place acrossthe team
* Handling escalated queries from clients
* Supporting the team and developing their technical knowledge to allowthem to deal with more complex queries
* Providing quality and timely advice to clients
* Maintaining strong working relationships with FCA, ICO, APCC and other stakeholders
* Identifying and responding to emerging regulatory trends and developmentsincluding new rules and requirements
* Ensuring any relevant changes and trends are assessed and communicated with clients tomake appropriate preparations and amendments
* Sharing your knowledge with colleagues internally
* Providing clients with solutions which allow them to comply with regulatory requirements and best practice
* Providing advice on enquiries from new andexisting clients
The Person:
* Experience in a similar Regulatory Compliance Director/ Regulatory Director/ Compliance Director role
* Excellent knowledge of FCA principles and handbooks including CONC, ICOB and MCOB
* Experience in providing regulatory advice to clients and key stakeholders
* Confident to manage your own caseload and bank of clients
* Solutions focused
* Excellent attention to detail with an analytical mind set
* Strong communication skills, Written and verbal
