7.5 Tonne Drivers - Temp-Perm Positions >
Kenect Drivers are currently recruiting for 5 x experienced 7.5 Tonne drivers for temp-perm night work with our client based at Magna park in Lutterworth (LE17).
Our client are the largest multi-channel distributor of business supplies and office stationary within the industry in the UK.
We have a selection of shift start times to choose from including:
- 00.30am Monday to Friday x 3
- 01.30am Monday to Friday x 1
- 18.30pm Monday to Friday x 1
As an experienced 7.5t driver the work shallinvolve:
- Multidrop deliveries off office stationary
- Between 5-25 deliveries per shift
- Set runs available (same routeevery day)
- Required to load own vehicle
- Use of pallet pump truck, Sack truck and tail lifts
- Some manual lifting required (boxes of paper)
- 2-3 days paid training provided to learn products and routes
- Aprrox. 9 hours per shift - 45 hours average working week
The salary for these positions are as follows:
The pay rates outlined below for this role are inclusive of holiday pay for PAYE workers. The rates listed below also apply for Limited Company drivers.
- Whilst temporary (first 12 weeks) = £8.33 p/h increasing to £10.83 p/h after 37.5 hrs p/w
- When permanent (week 13 onwards) = £8.63 p/h increasing to £11.22 after 37.5 hrs p/w
- 45 hours average per week = 7.5 hours at overtime rate
- 23 days holidays per annum plus 8 stats
Toapply for this role you must:
- Hold a 7.5 tonne licence for a minimum of 12 months
- Hold a valid CPC / DQC card
- Hold adigital tacho card
- Be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes
- Have no more than 6 penalty points on licence for minor offences
