Join our client, a reputable company in the FMCG industry, known for their exceptional dairy products. They are currently seeking a skilled Cold Storage Manager to oversee their state-of-the-art cold store facility located in West Cork.
Responsibilities:
* Efficiently monitor and control cold store stock by coordinating the movement of products.* Process, track, and optimise inventory to ensure accurate stock control and reduce wastage, increasing cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
* Deliver exceptional customer service through effective dispatch, delivery, and storage activities.
* Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes, including operational and health and safety practices.
* Provide coordination and support to warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to established processes and standards.
Duties:
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and promote best practices across all activities.
* Conduct regular stock counts and maintain precise inventory records.
* Maintain a well-organised, safe, and tidy cold store facility.
* Supervise the picking, packing, and shipping of products based on customer requirements.
* Maintain accurate dispatch records.
* Attend relevant health and safety training, including Manual Handling Certification.
* Perform additional duties as required by management.
Person Specification:
* Demonstrable experience in an FMCG/Food environment.
* Possession of a forklift license is advantageous, although not essential.
* Strong ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritise workload effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexible and responsive approach, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
