Customs Clearance Team Leader is required for a global logistics company who is going through rapid growth. Employing over 20,000 people globally and delivering over 3.9 billion items globally every year this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the growth.
A recent office relocation has allowed them the space to grow, you'll be based in their bright, modern offices in Bedfont.This is a role where you will be based in the office 5 days a week, with free parking on site and the opportunity to work for an organisation who people their people at the heart of what they do.
Customs Clearance Team Leader must have:
* Import and Export knowledge.
* Proven experience working with the HMRC.
* Customs law and legislation knowledge.
* Have led a teampreviously.
In reward you will be paid a salary of £35,000 p.a. plus benefits.
Leading a small team of five your Customs Clearance Team Leader role includes:
* Manage the customs clearance team to ensure all customs activities are completed.
*File customs clearance declarations by submitting all types of import, export, and transit declarations.
* Responsible for allETSF movements and maintenance of Stock Account Records.
* Guarantee in-house expertise on customs and VAT regulations.
* Manage all HMRC duty and taxes refund requests and submit appeals.
* Review and optimise current customs procedures and assurecontinuous improvements.
* Advise customers on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements.
