Our client, a prominent player in the supermarket industry, is searching for a dynamic Deputy Logistics Manager to ensure the smooth operation of over 210 retail stores acrossthe region. As the Deputy Logistics Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of dedicated warehouse operatives, providing motivation, and fostering a performance-oriented work environment. Your excellent communication skills,both written and spoken, will be essential in coordinating training and quality control checks to guarantee optimal performancefrom the team and maintain their high standards.
Your expertise and adaptability will be crucial in handling challenges thatcome your way. With at least 2-3 years of previous management experience in a similar sector, you're well-equipped to tackle the diverse demands of this role.
Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of warehouse operatives to meet and exceed company standards.
* Set an example with your work ethic, fostering a performance-driven culture.
* Conduct regularquality control checks and audits to maintain top-tier service levels.
* Coordinate training sessions to empower staff and trainees to excel in their roles.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills with fluent proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
* 2-3 years of management experience in a similar sector.
* Ambition, flexibility, and an adaptable workstyle.
Shifts and Benefits:
The role is based in Central Westmeath and operates on a 24/7 schedule. The shift pattern isusually 4 days out of 7, with shift times ranging from 5:30 am to 4:30 pm or 10:30 am to 9:30 pm (NORMALLY NO NIGHTS).

* Starting salary of €43k per annum, rising to €55k within 4 years.
