Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that combines your strong administrative skills with in-depth knowledge of stores functionality? We are actively seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our client's team in Little Island, Cork.
Details:
* Salary: €35-40K PA = €16.83 - €19.23 PH
* Monday to Friday
Role/Responsibilities: As a crucial member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety standards.
* Collaborating with Engineers and other Client staff to streamline operations.
* Proactively informing clients of any potential delays or issues.
* Adhering to strict deadlines and providing timely, accurate information.* Overseeing day-to-day store operations, including deliveries as required.
* Meeting agreed metrics to support site benchmarking.
* Monitoring emails for site requests and promptly addressing them.
* Fulfilling customer/site-specific requests in alignment with contractual agreements.
* Engaging with suppliers to secure the best prices and ensure timely deliveries.
* Conducting cycle counting and maintaining optimal stock control.
* Handling other ad hoc duties as required.
Candidate Profile:We are looking for candidates who possess:
* A robust stores background coupled with excellent administrative skills.
* Previous experience with engineering materials would be a valuable asset.
* Proficiency in using ERP systems such as SAP, Maximo, Oracle, etc.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills and a professional telephone manner.
* Fluency in English is essential, and confidence in dealing with clients and vendors is a must.
* A flexible approach toall aspects of the role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is advantageous.
