Join Our Team - Logistics Supply Specialist / Logistics Co-ordinator / Logistics Administrator

Are you ready to take on an exciting and challenging role in the world of logistics? We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to fulfill the position of Logistics Supply Specialist at our clients headquarters in Naas, Co Kildare.

Job Purpose: As a Logistics Supply Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to meet and supply logistics demands for raw materials and finished goods worldwide. This pivotal role will involve analysing forecasts, liaising with Sales and Operations teams, and managing supply and demand issues. Your expertise will ensure the efficient coordination of product delivery and credit limits, while developing demand plans and addressing supply challenges. Additionally, you will play a vital role in stock control, credit management, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for a diverse set of tasks including:

* Analysing forecasts and collaborating with Sales and Operations teams to address supply/demand issues.
* Managing sales contracts and coordinating product delivery, credit limits, and logistics.
* Developing demand plans and proactively addressing supply challenges.
* Maintaining tight control of inventory to ensure optimalefficiency's.
* Reacting promptly to market demands to ensure a steady supply from traders.
* Identifying and investigatingpotential cost-saving initiatives.
* Providing regular status and communication reports to customers and traders.
* Ensuringaccurate and timely completion of all logistics paperwork.
* Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely product supply.
* Coordinating with carriers to ensure on-time loading and delivery.
* Keeping key business partners updated daily on any potentialsupply issues.
* Collaborating with the Department of Agriculture to uphold veterinary procedures.
* Exploring new market opportunities and facilitating trade approval in new countries.
* Efficiently managing stock control and rotation.

Skills /Qualifications / Experience: To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

* Prior experience in logistics would be advantageous but not essential.
* Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook is a key requirement.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
