Logistics Coordinator/Warehouse Supervisor

My client based near Llanelli are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator/Warehouse Supervisor to join them in their large production facility
This is a day shift role paying circa £28-29,000 per annum
Within this role your key roles and responsibilities will be:
*Responsible for managing a small team on a day to day basis and lead the team toachieve departmental KPIs
*Leading a safety-first approach maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business
*Accountable for the trouble-free reception and delivery of all goods entering & leaving the facility
*Responsible for accurate process compliance in the system environment.
*Responsible for inventory accuracy of stock and cycle counting process
*Accountable for trouble free line supply of manufacturing withall needed materials
*Responsible to monitor and develop assigned resources to ensure continuous achievement of relevant targets
*Responsible the continuous improvement of all material handling processes with the support of lean manufacturing tools.
*Fulfil assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business.
This is a hands-on role and the person appointed should have the following skills or experience:
Understanding of the supply chain process
Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced excel skills
Knowledge of lean techniques advantageous
Previous management experience management
Training, mentoring and people development skills
Interpersonal & business management skills
Excellent communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts costs, production, manufacture and customer orderfulfilment
Results orientated and organised with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
Project management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Be a team player of the highest calibre
Able to work on own initiative and drive appropriate goals
Ability towork well under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
Previous warehouse/logistics experience within automotive ormanufacturing environment desirable
