Role Overview:As a Parts Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's parts inventory. You'lloversee shipping and replacement procedures while implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive parts sales strategy to meet targeted objectives. This role requires strong negotiation skills, sound decision-making abilities, and exceptional communication and leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Satisfaction: Provide exceptional customer service by efficiently handling orders and resolving queries in a timely manner.

Promotional Excellence: Create and manage promotional campaigns for parts on sale to boost sales andcustomer engagement.

Online Presence: Enhance the company's online presence to expand reach and improve customer accessibility.
*
Supplier Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, including identifying new suppliers offering high-quality products.

Inventory Management: Collaborate closely with the Stock Controller to ensure accurate inventory levels, including setting individual parts inventory thresholds for optimal turnover.

Efficient Ordering: Develop effective stock ordering procedures to align inventory levels with customer demand.
*
Service Department Collaboration: Work in tandem with the service department to ensure timely access to parts required for internal jobs.*
Performance Reporting: Regularly review and present monthly and annual Parts Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to guide data-driven decision-making.

Team Collaboration: Actively participate in managers meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance overall operations.
Qualifications:

Relevant Experience: Ideally, candidates should possess 2-3years of relevant experience, with a preference for those with experience in a trade environment.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in IT and systems skills is essential for effective stock management, electronic parts catalogue usage, and supplier management.
