Job Opportunity: Full-Time Stores Operative (Fixed Contract - with possibility of permanency)
Salary: €34-36k PA (DOE) = €16.35PH - €17.31PH (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday either8AM - 4:30PM or 8:30AM - 5PM
Are you a dynamic individual with strong organisational and administrative skills? Join our client's team as a Full-Time Stores Operative at our client site near Waterford City.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
* Collaborate with Engineers and client staff effectively.
* Keep clients informed of delays or issues promptly.
* Oversee day-to-day store operations, including deliveries.
* Monitor and respond to site requestsvia email.
* Fulfill customer/site-specific requests per contractual agreements.
* Liaise with suppliers for optimal pricingand delivery.
* Handle additional ad hoc duties as required.
Candidate Profile:
* Strong stores background with excellent administrative skills.
* Previous experience with engineering materials is advantageous.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Oracle).
* Excellent organisational skills; ability to multitask and work under pressure.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a professional telephone manner.
* Fluency in English is essential; confident in dealing with clients and vendors.
* Flexible approach to all aspects of the role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is advantageous.
