Job Opportunity: Transport Manager
Hours: 7AM - 4PM (flexible)
Salary: €50000 - €60000 - Depending On Experience
We are excited to announce an excellent career opportunity for a TransportManager at our client's North Dublin Warehouse. Join a dynamic team and play a key role in overseeing transportation operationsto ensure the highest level of service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and schedule transportation routesto meet customer KPIs.
* Ensure compliance with transportation and logistics regulations and laws.
* Lead, motivate, and engage the transport team for optimal performance.
* Act as the customer account contact for the designated region.
* Identifyand implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
* Implement real-time manual updates due to daily plan deviations.
* Manage a team of drivers, delivery assistants, and logistics administrators.
* Oversee day-to-day transport operations.* Enhance the fleet maintenance program, involving both in-house and sub-contracting resources.
* Monitor and assess KPIs,implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Maintain a safe working environment in line with H&S and road safety legislation.
* Minimise equipment breakdowns and ensure timely reporting.
* Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, and safe operationof company vehicles.
Essential Criteria:
* Proven track record in managing vehicles and manpower.
* High level of computer literacy, especially in MS Office applications.
* Ability to interpret and analyse data to meet targets.
* Excellent communication, customer service, and people management skills.
* Strong personality and leadership skills.
Skills and Qualifications:
* 5 years' experience in a similar role or supervisory position with people management experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* CPC certification.
* Strong organisation and time management skills with attention todetail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management.
* Mentoring skills with a history of developing people.* Collaborative approach.
* Excellent reporting ability.
* Ability to make data-driven decisions.

* Numerically and analytically minded.
