Transport Manager Job - Dublin City Centre - Dublin 8
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Location: Dublin City Centre - Dublin 8
Join our client's team in a hands-on role where you'll ensure daily targets aremet, oversee technical equipment operation, optimise logistics, and support retail functions. We're seeking someone with seniormanagement experience in a busy environment, capable of overseeing deliveries, drivers and fleet and communication with stakeholders and H&S and RSA Compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the planning and customer service team.
*Oversee the fuel system management across multiple sites.
* Manage trunking operations.
* Ensure fleet compliance and managerelated costs.
* Develop and multiskill staff in planning and customer service.
* Act as the main point of contact for retail and customer service relations.
* Control payroll and holiday entitlements.
* Maintain driver and tachograph compliance.* Support innovation and accident reporting.
* Manage loading schedules and address any errors.
* Meet business KPIs and uphold business values.
* Ensure accurate and efficient execution of customer instructions.
* Mentor and coach staff in customer service and delivery best practices.
* Report issues to senior management and customers.
Experience & Skills Required:
* 5 years in a Senior Transport Planning or Transport Manager role.
* Proficient in SAP, Excel, and other MS packages.* Strong leadership and clear communication skills.
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage customer communication.* Flexibility in work hours and willingness to travel.
* Enthusiastic, energetic, and able to work independently.
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
