Transport Planning Co-Ordinator is required for a global logistics company who is going through rapid growth. Employing over 20,000 people globally and delivering over 3.9 billion items globally every year this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of thegrowth.
We are looking for someone with:
* Transport planning and vehicle operations experience.
* Knowledge of transporting secured goods.
* Security level D or higher.
* Ability to be CRB cleared.
* IT literate in all MS Office packages and would be an advantage if you knew Box Top, ASM Sequoia.
This is a fantastic opportunity as Transport Planning Co-Ordinatorto oversee the process between warehouse door and transport admin. Reducing vehicle idle stand times in the yard area as well asdeliver improvements.
This is a permanent, full-time position based near Feltham/Heathrow. Working a 2-week shift rota whichconsists of: Week 1: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and Week 2: Tuesday - Saturday 7am - 4pm. In reward you will be paid a salary ofup to £25,000 p.a. plus benefits
The successful Transport Planning Co-Ordinator will:
* Plan load and unloading vehicles.
* Maintain clear access routes in the warehouse and yard.
* Transport capacity maximisation.
* Oversee day to day running of internal transport vehicles.
* Arrange collections and deliveries through approved logistic partners domestically and internationally.
* Maintain and control airline equipment stock levels.
* Take an active part in quotation and looking at costeffective solutions.
