Job Title: Temporary Van Driver, Cork city, immediate start
Job Type: Temporary (2 weeks) with possibility of extension
Location: Munster, Ireland
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AMto 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: €13.46 per hour
I am currently seeking a reliable and responsible temporary Van Driver fora company based out of the Tramore road in Cork. This is a temporary position with the opportunity for extension based on performance and business needs. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our valued customers and other storeswithin the Munster area.
Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a van to collect goods from the depot on Tramore Road and deliver them to various locations throughout Munster.
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods while adhering to the assigned route.
* Load and unload goods from the van, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
* Maintain records of deliveries, including receipts and proof of delivery.
* Follow all traffic rules, regulations, and safety protocols to ensure a safedriving experience.
* Communicate effectively with the depot and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
* Valid B license and a clean driving record.
* Previous experience as a vandriver and familiarity with Munster's road network.
* Possession of a valid manual handling certification is essential.
* Be physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet delivery deadlines.* Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
* Attention to detail and the ability to handle paperwork accurately.
* Reliability and a strong work ethic.
